Widget News!
OK, only fiercely exciting to the narrow group of cricket fans who own Macs, but I’ve cobbled together a new Dashboard widget from a BBC live scorecard, cheap and cheerful, low on info but bold enough for a quick flash update.
Actually I say its a narrow group of people but for the Cricket News widget I get around 250ish downloads a month and that jumped to 670 downloaded the week before the Ashes, and 770 downloaded at the start of the ICCC World Cup, which was fun.

Yes, I know, “Add more photos” the world cries. The only people who visit this website do it so they can see the boy wonder mugging to the camera!
Well, there are no new photos. Not on the website anyway, theres a good few months worth lying around on the laptop and probably a few dozen on the camera, I’ll try and get to it this month, but we’ve been decorating and spending money.
The only update you’re getting is this new page of writing linking to other pages on the site. A hub, if you like, which is totally ignorable, but from where you can quickly get to the bit that you really want to.

Spent a lovely weekend at Rob and Jo Horns at the weekend, Took the camera but failed to remember to take any photos.
Website Update News
More updates! an addition of the random image on the sidebar and the automatic whats-been-updated-in-the-Family-Tree bit. All good fun, this will turn into the main page probably next week.
Welcome
Another year another front end to the website, I just like testing management systems really, Mambo was good, but the last one was Geeklog and that was rubbish so I’m trying a Blog format this time round. Links to the Gallery and the Family Tree Wiki are on the right at the moment, Hopefuly I’ll have a look at beautifying it soon.
